The great nutritional value and biological properties of royal jelly are due to its special composition. The main ingredients are water, protein, sugars, lipids and minerals.
It contains proteins, amino acids, the most important of which are aspartic and glutamic acid.
The main minerals it contains are: K, Ca, Na, Zn, Fe, Cu and Mn, with a strong predominance of potassium.
Characteristic for royal jelly is its content of vitamins as well: vitamin B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B12 and in smaller amounts of vitamin C, D, A and E.
It also contains a proportion of active substances, such as acetylcholine, which has vasodilating properties, useful for the treatment of circulatory disorders found in the elderly. In addition, it has an effect on the nervous system, allowing the transfer of nerve oscillations from one nerve fiber to another. Finally, it stimulates adrenaline secretion.
Dosage:
Every day, in the morning before breakfast, one spoon (available in the package) under the tongue. For children, the amount is half. In the case of patients or athletes, the dose may be doubled. The total consumption period should not exceed three months per year. As there is a case of allergy, it would be wise to start with the first 10 days with a minimum amount (on the tip of the toothpick). Consult your doctor.
