Emmelia is a sustainable beekeeping farming business, producing high quality bee products. Using new technologies in combination with traditional beekeeping techniques we produce at least 10 different varieties of honey each year.
With 30 years of experience , scientific guidance, good beekeeping practices, absolute respect for the environment and absolute admiration for the bee, we personally take care of all the products of the hive at all stages of production.
Our beekeeping farming business is based in Viotia, at the foot of mount Helicon in Prodromos (Hostia) village. At this location we produce thyme honey, intensely aromatic, very pleasant in taste with light shiny appearance. Our fir honey slightly spicy and low in sweetness is one of the richest in nutrients forest honeys worldwide. Our flower blossom honey, produced in the plain of Thebes, is rich of pollen by Mediterranean aromatic plants.
Our honey pine-erica is produced in the forests of North Evia. It has a mild taste and it’s very popular to children. Year after year, we keep travelling with our bees looking for new locations to produce new varieties of honey. Orange blossom, acacia, arbutus-erica and anise are some of the varieties of honey we have been able to harvest every year.
In the apiary we collect finest raw pollen, we collect propolis and make tincture. At our lab we have developed formulas to use the raw materials we produce. Emmelia handmade soaps are from extra virgin olive-oil from our own organic crop and contain honey, bees wax and other nutrients for the skin. We also make beeswax salve and lip balms with 100% natural ingredients.
We personally take care of every aspect and ensure the highest quality of our products. Having absolute respect for nature as our stable value , our goal is to keep offering high quality bee products, keeping intact all natural nutritional and therapeutic properties of all beehive products.
